At Tutor With Mrs D, we aim to provide the best possible tutoring experience for your child. To ensure smooth scheduling and effective learning, we have set the following policies in place. Please review these carefully before booking a session.
1. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
We understand that schedules change. If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will be charged the full session fee.
If you provide more than 24 hours' notice, you may reschedule the session at no additional cost, subject to availability.
Missed appointments without prior notice will be charged in full, with no refunds offered.
2. Missed Sessions
We value your time, and we ask that you arrive on time for each session.
If your child is late, the session will still conclude at the originally scheduled time to accommodate other students.
If your child misses a session and there is availability, we will try to reschedule within the same month, but this cannot be guaranteed and is subject to the tutor’s availability.
3. Payment Policy
All tutoring sessions must be paid in advance to secure your child’s appointment. Payment can be made through our online booking platform.
Session Fee: $40 for a 45-minute one-on-one session.
We accept Visa, Master Card, Debit
Payments for recurring sessions can be processed automatically through saved payment information for your convenience.
4. Refund Policy
We do not offer refunds for missed sessions or cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment. If you cancel more than 24 hours in advance, you may reschedule the session at no extra charge.
5. Code of Conduct
To ensure a productive learning environment, we expect all students to:
Come prepared with any necessary materials (e.g., textbooks, homework, etc.).
Maintain a respectful attitude towards the tutor and the learning process.
Participate actively in the session.
Disruptive behavior or failure to engage in the session may result in early dismissal from the session without a refund.
6. Privacy Policy
We are committed to protecting your privacy. Any personal information you provide, such as contact details, payment information, or your child’s educational records, will be kept confidential and used solely for the purposes of providing tutoring services.
We do not share personal information with third parties unless required by law.
7. Parental Involvement
We encourage parents to be involved in their child’s learning progress.
Parents are welcome to discuss their child’s progress with the tutor after sessions or during pre-scheduled check-ins.
Parents should feel free to provide any feedback that can help enhance the learning experience for their child.
8. Emergencies
In the case of an emergency, please contact us as soon as possible, and we will do our best to accommodate rescheduling.
9. Updates to Policies
We reserve the right to update these policies at any time. Any changes will be communicated to our clients, and continued use of our services will indicate acceptance of the updated policies.
